JVLearning Story

Rajni's interest for teaching started at a young age with his mom being a college professor. His passion for teaching was rekindled when he worked as a teaching assistant for over two years in Texas Tech University.

The passion for teaching along with an opportunity for helping students all over the world led to the genesis of JVLearning.com.   We are starting with Math tutoring and homework help. Our vision is to teach all subjects including languages from around the world.

We have partnered with non-profit agencies to promote and provide education among under privileged students around the world. We want to make a difference in the world one student at a time.

Student Centered Learning

Our teaching methodology was derived from both student centered learning methods and Indian methods of teaching. Since Rajni studied in India for 21 years before he moved to the United States for his masters, his mission was to blend the student centered method and Indian teaching method to come up with an unique method of teaching. The best parts of Indian methodology of teaching like starting early, practicing and building on previous knowledge have been coupled with student centered learning methods where the students influence the content, activities, materials, and pace of learning. This learning model places the student (learner) in the center of the learning process.

Management Team

Rajni Jaipaul, is the Founder and Chairman of JVLearning.com. Rajni founded JVLearning in 2008 and serves as the company CEO. Rajni has an MBA from University of Texas at Austin, Masters of Science in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University and Chemical Engineering Undergraduate degree from Anna University, Chennai.

Umadevi Kannan is a seasoned entrepreneur who has a successful history of starting ventures. Umadevi has about 12 years experience in the high tech industry in various roles from CEO to Project Management. Umadevi has an MBA from University of Madras and an undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Vasanthakokilam Kannian – 35 years of teaching experience and retired Principal of Govt Arts college. She has a Masters of Arts Degree in Teaching. Her vast teaching experience was influential in setting the mission/vision for the company.

Srimathi Sundaram has about 25 years of experience teaching math and science for k-12 students. She has been awarded Rotary Club Award for Best Teacher.She has a graduate degree in Math.
